“Ootoya Restaurant – Central World” / Shot with Nokia N70 Mobile Phone

There are many way to taste Japanese food in Bangkok. Japanese Restaurant can be found around the city especially in Sukhumvit area and Downtown. Even in Thonburi District you can find many Japanese restaurant in shopping mall. Tonight I have dinner at Ootoya Restaurant at Central World Plaza. Ootaya is originally found in Japan and now there are more than 9 branches in Bangkok such as Central World Plaza, The Emporium, Siam Paragon and The Esplanade. I think its Salad is very crisp even in the late night and compare to other restaurants. There are lots of Japanese menu in a la carte and set with reasonable prise (but more expensive than Fuji and Zen). Number of menu may less than the others but I think it’s quite unique. Rice is refillable, if you order any set of food (I love it). In addition, if you order hot greentea, it’s free!!! and can be refill. If you want to have some Sushi or Sashimi, they don’t have it. The restaurant is open daily from 10.00 – 22.00. Access by BTS at Siam Station or Chitlom Station and walk about 5 minutes to Central World Plaza at 6th Floor.
